Solve Pollution Initiative

The Solve Pollution Initiative works to end harm to human health from pollution by bringing together local leaders and global experts across all relevant areas and sectors.

Through national projects designed and led by local citizens and representatives, the Solve Pollution Initiative implements comprehensive Health and Pollution Action Plans based on country-specific needs and priorities.

We facilitate local, national, and global solutions through citizen, industry, research, and government action to:

  • end exposure to harmful pollution;
  • deepen understanding of the chemical and biological pathways by which pollution harms health;
  • increase public knowledge and awareness of the health impact of pollution, particularly among youth; and
  • facilitate innovations in policies and processes that support safe and sustainable economic development.
